FROM THE PASTOR
Dear friends, as we enter the holy season of Lent, I invite each of you to embrace the three pillars — prayer, fasting, and almsgiving — not as burdens, but as pathways deeper into the heart of God. Notes & Preparation
Preachable Angles
The body as temple
Lent as a clearing out — what have we allowed to clutter the inner sanctuary? Connects to fasting, examination of conscience, almsgiving.
Zeal consuming
Not the soft Jesus of popular imagination — this is a man who made a whip from cords. What consumes us? Is our love ordered rightly?
Destroy this temple
The disciples did not understand until after the Resurrection. Faith involves trusting a future we cannot yet see. Speak to those who feel their own life is in ruins.
